Second, I opened the main cover on the control box, then opened the control panel with the plastic latch on the right. On advice from Orbit, I went into the app on my phone/My B-Hyve/Device and disconnected the device. Somehow, the Orbit timer kept working until just 3 days ago. I had been previously using an Asus router and switched to the Eero 3 months ago. Here is one solution that worked very well for my Orbit B-Hyve Indoor/outdoor irrigation timer if you are trying to connect to an Eero Wi-Fi net. Of course that means they need to update their hardware, but that's not going to happen before I have to return this thing. I would really love to know if anyone has been able to make this combination work, because the people at Orbit think it's an incompatibility issue with my mesh network. Without Wi-Fi you can't use their smart watering system you don't get alerts and most smart functions just don't work. I can also not connect to the timer through the hub, but if I put the timer in Bluetooth mode I can turn zones on and off. It seems to me that their hardware is complete garbage. They can see my hub and my timer but they cannot communicate to the timer through the hub. I have gone through the connection procedure and everything seems to work fine I have dealt with tech support for hours on the phone and through texts and they cannot figure out the problem. I would love to know if anyone has successfully connected an orbit b-hyve Gen 2 hub to an eero mesh network. ![]() I am approaching the end of my return window with this piece of garbage but would like to give it one more chance if anyone has any suggestions.
